汉语中说的“高中”，说成英语是 Senior High 还是 Senior High School？前面要不要定冠词？

其意思是说：senior high school 也可说成 senior high，主要用于美国英语中，用于指14岁至18岁的年轻人上的学校（即相当于中国的“高级中学”）
类似说法有 junior high school 也可说成 junior high，也用于美国英语中，用于指12岁至14岁的年轻人上的学校（即相当于中国的“初级中学”）。《牛津高阶英语词典》的相关解释是：junior high school (also junior high) noun [C, U] (in the US) a school for young people between the ages of 12 and 14
注意junior high (school) 与 junior school 不同：后者用于英国英语中，用于指7至11岁的孩子上的学校（即相当于中国的“小学”）。《牛津高阶英语词典》的相关解释是：junior school noun [C, U] (in Britain) a school for children between the ages of 7 and 11 （英国）小学
▲关于这类用法前用不用冠词的问题，大致情况是：若是用作普通名词，其前通常有冠词或其他限定词；若是用作专有名词，其前通常不用冠词或其他限定词；另外，若是“上学”这类抽象概念，其前通常也不用冠词。如：
